QUEENSBURY -- A registered sex offender who moved to a new address without notifying police as required pleaded guilty to a felony charge on Monday.
Anthony Pecue, 36, pleaded guilty to a felony count of failure to register as a sex offender.
Warren County Judge John Hall placed him on interim probation for a year. If he does well, he will be allowed to withdraw his felony plea, plead guilty to a misdemeanor and serve three years on probation.
If he does not do well, he faces a jail sentence.
Pecue moved from an Upper Sherman Avenue, Queensbury address last fall and did not notify police of his new address within the required time frame.
Pecue is a Level 1 sex offender, but it was unclear what sex offense led to his being considered a registered sex offender.
