Submitting Your Sites to Search Engines

I am writing this today just to tell everyone that if you are considering doing some sort of site submit package you are about to be ripped off. This does not help your site get indexed faster or rank better. The highest ranked sites were never submitted to search engines, so do not waste your money. Spend it on better optimization techniques that help you get indexed and ranked.

There are many services that do a site submit for you. These services offer submission to many search engines some say thousands for one fee. Some offer to do it once and then resubmit a few times a month claiming to help your rankings. This will cost you money that you are throwing away, submitting once and submitting many times will not help your rankings it is not a part of SEO.

Site submits really only tell the search engine that you exist. It doesn't mean you will be indexed, or that the search engines will even crawl your site. You know what will tell the search engines you exist? Links. If you can get a bunch of links to your website then the search engines will find you, not only will they find you they will love you, even if your site is brand new.

I build a ton of sites, I have had sites go into Google in one single day. There was one time I actually launched a brand new site and got on page one for a pretty competitive keyword in 12 hours. You will never do that submitting your site. I do want to let you know that the reason I got to page one is I believe Google thought my site was some hot news story or something, I fell off later that day, and had to work to get back up, but still these are incredible results.

My method to getting indexed and ranked in google is very simple. Every single time I design a new page, not a site, a page, I do the exact same thing. That page is indexed within 3 days. If my site has a PR 2 or more, which most do, I can add a page, get it near the top of Google within 3 days. Let me assure you it is fantastic for business when you are at the top of the search engines.

2. Follow up questions

It's not enough to just ask her where she is from. You must follow it up with 2 - 3 questions to show you are genuinely interested. So for example she says "Yes, I'm from here."

You can say "O really, so all your family lives here?" Or "Do you plan to stay here or do you want to move away?" My point is when a girl answers a question she will give you material for more follow up questions.

You should ask her 2 - 3 follow up questions and then answer your own questions. So using the same example lets say she says "Yes, all my family lives here. I have a younger sister."

You could say "Yea, I moved out here a few years ago from New York, I have two brothers back there." This will help her feel like she is getting to know you. And you are getting to know her.

3. All it takes is 1 - 5 minutes of conversation and you can close. In your closing you must say either:

- Do you want to get a cup of coffee sometime?

- Do you want to get together sometime?

The reason you don't ask her to dinner and a movie on a first date is because that is a lot of pressure. You have only talked to her for a few minutes and you don't really know her. Instead with these two closings you are really just asking her if she is interested in you.

Lastly, you must expect some rejection. This happens for all sorts of reasons. One thing that helps me when this happens is I will say to myself "Don't chase her just replace her."

I know this sounds callous but it's just one girl. There are a lot of women in the world. Further, sometimes it doesn't matter who you are or what you say she is not going to be interested in anyone right now. So don't beat yourself up or think too much about it and move forward.
